Educando a América offers After school Spanish classes to Elementary School students as an Enrichment Programs of some Broward County Schools.
Usually these programs are held two days a week right after dismissal of each school regular hours. Each class has a duration of 90 minutes. On the first class of the week students practice the new vocabulary through games and group activities that encourage children to understand and speak Spanish. On the second class of the week the reading and writing activities aim to ensure the acquisition of new vocabulary.
Educando a América offers programs for both native and non native students. We evaluate each student in the first class and then place them in the appropriate group, according to their age and level of Spanish.
Students are evaluated every class. Every program is divided in three quarters. At the end of each quarter, parents will receive a report card and a workbook with exercises completed by the student in class during the period.
Some enrichment programs are only for students currently enrolled at the school where the program is offered.
Parents can choose either one or two days a week program. Registration fee is $50 per year. Prices are on a monthly fee basis:
One Day a week program: $115 monthly fee
Two days a week program: $165 monthly fee
